Hi, I’m Nicole, a Toronto wedding photographer based in Mississauga, sharing elegant weddings, venue inspiration, and helpful planning tips for couples across the GTA.
Victoria and Brian’s Springfield Golf Club Wedding in Guelph, Ontario was one of those days that felt perfectly timed in every way.
The forecast had been calling for rain, and for a little while, it looked like the weather might completely change the plans for the day. Because of that, we started the morning with portraits at a beautiful studio in downtown Guelph. What was originally a backup plan ended up being such a perfect part of their wedding gallery. The studio gave us a calm, relaxed space for photos before heading to Springfield Golf Club for the ceremony.
And then, in the best possible turn of events, the weather held off.
Victoria and Brian were married outdoors at Springfield Golf Club surrounded by their closest family and friends. Their day was filled with so much love, laughter, and the sweetest family moments with their boys. It felt like a true celebration of not only their wedding day, but the life they have already built together.
Victoria and Brian first met years ago while working together at Canadian Tire in Guelph. They were young at the time, and even though there was a clear connection, they went their separate ways. Years later, Brian reached out unexpectedly, and the rest became their story.
What makes their relationship so special is how grounded it feels. They are family-focused, down-to-earth, and genuinely happiest when they are spending time with the people they love most. Whether they are at the cottage, playing volleyball, relaxing together, or making memories with their boys, their relationship has such a sweet sense of home.
Their wedding day reflected that beautifully.
After their indoor portraits in downtown Guelph, we made our way to Springfield Golf Club for their outdoor ceremony. The setting was beautiful, peaceful, and full of emotion as Victoria and Brian officially became husband and wife.
One of the most unforgettable parts of the day happened later in the evening. We had just enough time to sneak out onto the golf course for a few sunset portraits. For about five minutes, the light was soft, beautiful, and golden.
Then, almost immediately after we finished, the clouds rolled in and a huge thunderstorm arrived.
The timing could not have been more perfect. It honestly felt like the day gave us exactly what we needed, right when we needed it.
Victoria and Brian are such a kind and loving couple, and their boys brought so much personality and joy to the day. Their wedding was not just about two people getting married. It was about a family celebrating something official, meaningful, and long-awaited.
From the quiet studio portraits to the outdoor ceremony, the family moments, and the quick sunset photos before the storm, every part of their day felt personal and full of heart.
Victoria and Brian, it was such an honour to photograph your wedding day. You two have built such a beautiful life and family together, and I am wishing you all the best as you begin this next chapter as husband and wife.
