Hi, I’m Nicole, a Toronto wedding photographer based in Mississauga, sharing elegant weddings, venue inspiration, and helpful planning tips for couples across the GTA.
Erica and Eric’s Cave Spring Vineyard wedding was filled with gorgeous vineyard views, plenty of laughter, and one of the most memorable ceremony moments I have ever photographed!
The couple exchanged vows outdoors at Cave Spring Vineyard, surrounded by rows of grapevines and the beautiful Niagara Escarpment. After the ceremony, everyone continued the celebration at Inn On The Twenty in the heart of Jordan Village.
I have photographed weddings at these Niagara venues several times, and they are always beautiful. The combination of a scenic vineyard ceremony and an elegant reception in the charming village of Jordan makes this such a wonderful setting for a wedding day.

Erica and Eric first met while studying social work at McMaster University in 2013. They became good friends and stayed that way for approximately 10 years before they began dating in 2024. They were engaged the following year.
With their nearly identical names, the same profession, and so many shared interests, it seems as though these two were always meant to find their way to one another.
They love spending time outdoors hiking, running and rock climbing, but they are equally happy playing board games, visiting local breweries and attending concerts. They are a fun, easygoing couple who clearly enjoy simply being together.
Long before Erica and Eric ever imagined marrying each other, they made a bet about which one of them would get married first. The person who married second would have to pay the winner $50.
Of course, no one could have guessed that they would eventually marry each other!
During their wedding ceremony, Erica and Eric exchanged the $50 between them. It was such a funny and personal moment, but it also represented the long friendship behind their relationship.
I love when couples include details like this in their ceremony. These are the moments that make a wedding feel personal and tell a story that could only belong to that particular couple.
Erica and Eric could not have asked for a more beautiful day for their outdoor wedding ceremony at Cave Spring Vineyard.
Their guests gathered among the vineyards, with the Niagara Escarpment creating a spectacular natural backdrop. After the ceremony and a celebratory group photo, we explored the property for portraits near the vineyard, pond and escarpment.
Cave Spring Vineyard offers so much variety for wedding photography. The vineyard rows create beautiful leading lines, while the water, greenery and escarpment provide completely different backgrounds without having to leave the property.
Following the ceremony, everyone headed into Jordan Village for the reception at Inn On The Twenty.
Located in the centre of the village, Inn On The Twenty is an elegant Niagara wedding venue with beautiful event spaces and plenty of character. It pairs perfectly with a Cave Spring Vineyard ceremony and allows couples to experience both the natural beauty of Niagara wine country and the warmth of historic Jordan Village on the same day.
The evening continued with dinner, dancing and speeches celebrating a relationship that began as a decade-long friendship.
Erica and Eric, congratulations! It was such a pleasure photographing your Cave Spring Vineyard wedding and seeing your wonderful story come full circle. Who would have guessed that a $50 bet between two university friends would end with them standing together at the altar?

I loved this first look moment between Erica and her mother.

Erica and Eric had a first look right beside the Inn on the Twenty hotel. They have a beautiful secluded courtyard that was perfect for photos.

Erica and Eric had a small wedding party. I loved the patterned dress and the gray suits with green and gold ties. It looked amazing together.

It was a beautiful sunny day, and the vineyards were lovely for photos..

Erica and Eric had beer made with custom labels to give to their guests. It was such a cute personal detail and people loved it.

The moment where Erica and Eric exchanged $50 bills with each other. It was priceless!

Congratulations Erica and Eric! I loved getting to know you and capturing your wedding. You two are meant to be and I wish you a lifetime of happiness!
