Hi, I’m Nicole, a Toronto wedding photographer based in Mississauga, sharing elegant weddings, venue inspiration, and helpful planning tips for couples across the GTA.
Lena and Aaron’s wedding at The Waterside Inn in Port Credit was such a lovely day to be part of. It was the kind of wedding that felt grounded, meaningful, and full of family — with so many moments that reflected who they are.
These two met about two years before their wedding day, and it was so special getting to document this season for them. They planned a beautiful celebration with around 100 guests, and even though it was a chilly day in March, everything came together so well.
One of my favourite parts of the day was that they included their dog, Linus, in their photos. I always love when couples bring their pets into the wedding day in some way because it makes everything feel even more personal. Linus was such a fun part of the day and made their portraits extra memorable.
I also recorded a full gallery walkthrough from Lena and Aaron’s wedding at The Waterside Inn, where I go through their finished wedding gallery and share how the day came together visually.
In the video, you’ll get to see more than just a few favourite images. I walk through the flow of the wedding day, the types of moments I look for, and how the final gallery tells the full story from start to finish.
This is especially helpful if you are planning a wedding at The Waterside Inn in Port Credit and want to see what a full wedding gallery can feel like beyond the highlight images. You’ll get a better sense of the ceremony, portraits, family photos, reception details, candid moments, and the in-between parts of the day that make a wedding gallery feel personal and complete.
The Waterside Inn is such a great wedding venue in Port Credit, especially for couples who want everything in one place. That is one of the biggest benefits of getting married there. The ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and portraits can all happen really close together, which makes the whole day feel smoother and more relaxed.
It is also right by the waterfront, which gives couples that beautiful lakeside feel without needing to travel far for photos. For anyone planning a Port Credit wedding, it really is such a convenient and pretty location.
Since it was cold outside, we knew we would likely be doing most of the photos indoors, and honestly, The Waterside Inn worked so well for that. We took most of the portraits inside the Breakwater Room, which has really nice natural light and was such a great spot for couple portraits, family photos, and wedding party photos.
It is always such a gift when a venue has an indoor space that still photographs beautifully, especially for an early spring wedding when the weather can be unpredictable. We did step outside for just a few photos under the front porch and near the front of the building, and those turned out so nicely too. It was easy to access and gave us a little variety without having to spend much time out in the cold.
One thing that really stood out to me about Lena and Aaron’s day was how much they cared about the people around them. Family photos, ceremony moments, and wedding party portraits were all really important to them, and you could feel that throughout the whole day.
Their timeline gave us space for the things that mattered most, which always makes such a difference. The day never felt rushed, and there was room for everyone to be present and enjoy it.
If you are planning a wedding at The Waterside Inn, it is such a wonderful venue to consider, especially if you want a location that is both practical and beautiful. Being right in Port Credit by the water gives it such a lovely atmosphere, and the fact that it works well both indoors and outdoors is a huge plus.
For couples planning a wedding in Mississauga or Port Credit, I think one of the best things about The Waterside Inn is that it makes the day feel easy. Guests do not have to move between multiple locations, there are great options for portraits even if the weather is not ideal, and the waterfront nearby adds such a nice backdrop to the whole experience.
I am also on the preferred vendor list at The Waterside Inn, which is always so nice because it means I know the space well and can help couples make the most of the locations around the venue in a smooth and stress-free way.
Lena and Aaron, thank you so much for having me photograph your wedding day. It was such a joy getting to know you both and celebrate alongside you. Your wedding was full of so much love, and I am so grateful I got to be part of it.
If you are planning a wedding at The Waterside Inn in Port Credit and are looking for a wedding photographer, I would love to hear more about your day.
