Hi! I'm Nicole, a Toronto wedding and portrait photographer who is obsessed with books, loves her family, and is passionate about taking authentic photos.
It’s always something special when I get to photograph the same couple through multiple milestones, and Amanda and Vince are one of those couples I’ve had the absolute joy of growing with over the years. I photographed their beautiful wedding at the Kortright Centre back in 2021, then captured the birth of their first son, and now here we are—celebrating baby number two with a cozy winter maternity session at the very same spot where it all began.
The Kortright Centre is one of those places that always delivers. It covers a huge area with such a variety of photo locations—winding forest paths, tall pines, open fields, and rustic wooden structures. Even in January, with snow on the ground and a chill in the air, it’s full of charm and texture.
And yes—it was cold! But Amanda and Vince were total champs. We timed the session around sunset (which comes early in the winter), and were lucky to catch that soft, golden light right at the end. It was so worth braving the chill.
These two are such a joy to work with—easygoing, warm, and so connected. I loved catching up with them, hearing how their little guy is doing, and talking about the excitement of welcoming their second baby. Since this session, I’ve already had the chance to meet and photograph baby number two—and I’ll be sharing those sweet family photos in an upcoming post!
Amanda and Vince, thank you for letting me be part of your journey. It means the world.
