Rachel and Scott had their wedding reception last fall at the King Valley Country Club.   They had a small wedding ceremony a year before, but they delayed their reception until they could invite all of their family and friends.   It was so exciting that they finally had the opportunity to have their dream party and I was really excited to be there to photograph everything.  

The day began with Rachel getting ready at her parents’ home and Scott getting ready at the country club. There was a ton of excitement in the air for Rachel and Scott’s big party to finally happen.  I photographed Rachel’s details and her bridesmaid’s in the front room of the house which has a nice big window and lots of space.  

We headed the King Valley Country Club for the couple to have a first look.   Scott was standing at the bottom of a long staircase, and Rachel came up to him and tapped him on the shoulder.  Their reactions to seeing each other were really sweet.   We took some photos of the couple on the staircase beside the clubhouse where this is lots of nice greenery and landscaping.    Afterwards, we took photos of the bridal party on the path through the golf course that is close to the clubhouse.   There are lots of nice locations for photos right near the clubhouse, so the bridal party didn’t need to walk too far.   Once we finished the bridal party photos, we took a few more photos of the couple in front of the clubhouse.  There are nice pathways and landscaping in front of the building as well.  

The reception was so lovely, and I loved hearing all the speeches.  Rachel and Scott are high school sweethearts and they have known their friends for a long time.  It was so nice to see everyone come together for a happy occasion.  Take a look at some of my favourite photos below….
