Ivy and Raymond micro wedding at the Guild Inn estate was a pleasure to photograph. These two are such a sweet couple and they went through so many obstacles to get married! They got engaged quite a while ago and were planning on having a big wedding at the Guild Inn Estate during the summer of 2020. Everything was all set, and then covid disrupted their plans. They pushed their wedding off until 2021 and decided to wait until their family and friends could gather again for their celebration.
At the end of the summer it was becoming clear that covid wasn’t going away anytime soon. They made a quick change to their their plans, and decided to go ahead with having a small wedding with just their immediate family present. Once they made this decision, things still weren’t easy though. They ended up having to change their plans several times until finally arriving at their plan to have a small ceremony at the Guild Inn. I’m sure it wasn’t easy for these two to plan this wedding as they had to be on their toes and quite open minded. I’m really happy they decided to go ahead with their altered plan though because it meant that I got to be there to photograph everything!
I think they did an amazing job with planning their small ceremony. The Roman Amphitheatre backdrop at the Guild Inn, was a beautiful setting for them to exchange their vows. The flowers were gorgeous and you could tell that their family were thrilled to be there to witness their union. This small wedding is a great example of celebrating the beautiful little things for a special small event.
Congratulations Ivy and Raymond! I wish you a wonderful future together!
