Intimate Wedding in Oakville, Ontario

Last summer was a great summer for weather and outdoor activities but it was very tricky for wedding planning.   In the spring, most of the weddings that I had booked for 2020 moved their dates to 2021 and held tight to their new plan.  There were a few couples, however, who were determined to get married in 2020.   These couples had to be very flexible and open minded with their wedding plans.

As the summer progressed and things changed in Ontario, I was asked to photograph a few small weddings.  These weddings were extra special to me, because there was only a handful of them and I love shooting small weddings.   Even though these weddings were small in size, they were big in feelings and beauty.

Julia and Devin were a couple who had moved their wedding to 2021, but decided at the last minute to have a small ceremony in 2020.   Only their close family attended and their day ended up being just as beautiful and heartwarming as their original plan.

After their wedding ceremony in Oakville, Ontario, we headed to Shell park to take some bride and groom photos.   The timing ended up being perfect and the flowers were all in full bloom.  Thank you Julia and Devin for asking me to photograph your wedding.  I loved being there and it brightened my summer.  Congratulations!   xo
