Charmaine and Myles’ wedding at the Brighton Convention and Event centre was an energetic and happy occasion. When I met Charmaine and Myles at a bridal show last year, we clicked immediately, and I knew that I’d love to photograph their wedding. Our engagement session at the Scarborough Bluffs was so much fun and their wedding day was equally as wonderful.
The day started off at a hotel for the getting ready for Charmaine and a family home for Myles. Charmaine’s hotel room had an amazing bay window with sheer curtains that provided beautiful lighting. I loved taking her portraits in front of that window and could have done it for hours if we had more time! There were so many nice details in the getting room and I couldn’t believe the amount of effort Charmaine put into preparing for the wedding.
After the getting ready photos, we met at a church for a lovely ceremony and then headed to Rosetta McLain gardens in Toronto for photos. The gardens were in full bloom and had a lot of beautiful colour to them. It was definitely a good spot to take their photos because of the location and the beauty of the park. Since the sun was shining brightly, we found a nice shady path with lots of trees. This location was one of the best and most flattering places to take photos.
After our photo session, we headed to the Brighton Convention and Event Centre for an unforgettable evening. Charmaine and Myles’ wedding went off perfectly and it was a day to remember. Take a look at some of my favourite photos below…
Check out the Starbucks frappuccino’s and straws. Charmaine thought of everything for her wedding!
I loved the huge window in Charmine’s getting ready room. It provided beautiful soft directional lighting which was perfect for portraits.
Awww, this flower girl was so sweet!
This is the start of the portraits at Rosetta McLain gardens. I loved this location for photos since it was very pretty and quiet.
Myle’s and his friends had lots of fun during the photo session which made me so happy:)
This was my favourite location for portraits. The overhang of the trees above made the lighting so flattering here.
I had a great time at your wedding Charmaine and Myles! I wish you many years of happiness. xo, Nicole
