A few weeks ago, I flew to Nashville to attend a wedding photography workshop hosted by Julie Paisley.    I’ve followed Julie Paisley on instagram for a few years and I love her sweet personality and her beautiful soft photographs.   I booked my spot for this workshop last winter, and I had been looking forward to it for a long time.

After touring around Nashville for a few days, I drove to her house and entered the workshop space called “the cottage”.   It was so pretty and feminine, just like her photographs.   I loved the grey and white theme and all the beautiful details in the space….

There were 10 other ladies there and it was great to meet them!  We had so much to talk about and so much in common.  There was another Canadian photographer there, and the rest of the ladies were from the States.

On the second day of the workshop, we headed to the Cedarwood Wedding Venue for a beautiful styled shoot.  Cedarwood is a historic estate located in the Tennessee countryside.  Everything was so green in Tennessee and Cedarwood was beautifully green as well.

They had built this beautiful arbour with roses and peonies.. My favourites!  I loved the blush and cream tones of the flowers.

I loved the stationary with the calligraphy, and the menu idea was also very nice.

The bride and groom were a couple from Nashville who recently got engaged.   They were really sweet and so happy.  The sunset light was gorgeous!  I just kept clicking my camera and I was having a great time…

Well, that was a great way to finish my trip to Nashville.  I had a wonderful time and I’d love to go back sometime soon.   I hope you enjoyed taking a peek into my trip!
