Andrew and Joseph’s Ancaster Mill wedding was on a cool spring April day.   When I think about the wedding of Andrea + Joseph I get a big smile on my face.  These high school sweethearts had been dating for years and they were finally ready to get married  at the Ancaster Mill just outside of Hamilton.    They have such a strong friendship and so much history together that it was a pleasure to hang out with them.   Things were even more exciting because they are expecting a baby boy in a few months.

They started the day getting ready at the Barrick’s inn, which was a very convenient location since it was close to the Ancaster mill.  The Barrick’s Inn also had the same rustic vibe as the Ancaster Mill, so it made the photos look cohesive.  We started photographing the “getting ready” part of the day and then we had a first look in front of the Barrick’s Inn.   I loved seeing Andrea and Joseph’s expressions at their first look.    We proceeded to take some more photos around the hotel and then we headed to the Ancaster Mill for the ceremony.

The chapel at the Ancaster Mill is so beautiful with it’s cathedral ceilings and large windows.   It’s a beautiful location for a wedding ceremony and it makes the wedding day run smoothly since the chapel is located so close to the reception area.   After the ceremony was finished, I took a few quick photos of Andrea and Joseph around the Ancaster Mill.  I love the waterfall feature there, so we took some photos there and we also took a few on the long bridge by the chapel.   The Ancaster Mill is in a beautiful setting, so there are lots of great locations for photography there.

The reception room was also filled with light and was beautifully decorated.  I loved the shades of purple and pink in the flowers and the candles made the room look magical.   I am so happy that I got to be there for Andrew and Joseph’s big day.  Congratulations to an amazing couple!   I wish you a wonderful life together!
