Julie and Steve’s Graydon Hall Manor wedding was on a beautiful summer day in July. Julie and Steve are such a caring and happy couple. You can see it in how they relate to the family and friends and how much they love their pets. They are truly best friends and it was a pleasure to be there to photograph their wedding day.
When I showed up at Julie’s condo in the morning, I was so happy to see some of the engagement photos that I took were printed and hung on the wall. I know that lots of people put off printing their photos, so I really love it when I see photos displayed. Once I settled in at Julie’s place, I started taking photos of her details and then I took some photos of the bridesmaids, and finally Julie getting into her dress. Once everyone was ready, we drove to Graydon hall for the couple’s first look.
When we arrived at Graydon Hall, Steve and their dog Rio, were already in place for the first look and we showed Julie where to go. The first look was really sweet, and Rio was so excited to see Julie, that he managed to wriggle out of his little tux! It was a minor wardrobe malfunction, but it made for some good photos;)
We continued to take photos along the shaded path beside Graydon Hall. This area is very pretty and it’s nice because it’s secluded and allows people to have their photos taken in private. Throughout the photo shoot, Rio was never far away from Julie and Steve.. he loves them so much! Luckily, Rio was a really well-behaved dog and he posed so nicely in the photos. I was also happy that Julie and Steve had a first look and they allotted quite a bit of time to their bride and groom photos. We ended up taking photos in quite a few locations and they have a lot of different photos to choose from.
We took a lot of outdoor photos, but we also headed inside and took some photos on the beautiful staircase in Graydon Hall. We also took a bunch of photos in the small “bridal suite” room, which is one of my favourite locations. The light-coloured walls and nice window light in that room make it an ideal place for photos.
After the photo session was done, Julie and Steve got married in the back garden at Graydon Hall in an intimate ceremony. There were violinists playing music and there was a beautiful floral backdrop in front of the couple. It was truly a picture-perfect setting for a wedding.
We loved being there for Julie and Steve’s wedding and it was great to get to know this amazing couple. We wish them many years of happiness on this new adventure!
Didn’t Julie look stunning!
Steve got ready with a few friends and the ring bearer Rio!
Graydon Hall Manor is such a beautiful location for a wedding. Even though it’s in the city, you would never know it once you are there.
Both Steve and Rio were very excited to see Julie!
We took a few photos of Julie, Steve and Rio in the pathway beside Graydon Hall. It is nice and quiet in this area and allows for some peaceful moments.
Check out Rio in the photos! He was so well behaved and he looked at the camera for a lot of the photos.
Aren’t the gardens at Graydon Hall so beautiful! They are always so well maintained and it’s the perfect backdrop for an outdoor wedding ceremony.
We took some photos of the wedding party at the front of Graydon Hall in a nice shady area.
I love this photo with Rio looking at the camera:)
These photos were taken in the bridal suite at Graydon Hall. This room is so pretty and a great location for photos.
