Kristina and Brandon’s paradise banquet hall wedding was on a beautiful summer day in June.  The weather on their wedding day was perfect… not too hot and not too cold and just a bit of cloud cover.  This made it perfect for photos, and I was one happy photographer! I’ve been shooting a lot of weddings these past few years, and some of the couples really stick out to me.  Kristina and Brandon are one of these couples.  They are both teachers and they are both so kindhearted and smart.

After getting ready, they did a first look and photos at Glendon College in Toronto.    Glendon college has some very pretty buildings and manicured grounds that are perfect for taking photos.   It’s also conveniently located next to some major highways in the city, so it’s easily accessible.   My favourite spot for photos there is under the vine covered arch in the front.    You get some nice shade and the greenery is very nice.  After we finished the photos, we headed to Paradise Banquet Hall in Vaughan for the reception.

The ceremony room was decorated beautifully with blossom trees and a flower covered arch.  During the reception, I learned a lot more about Kristina and Brandon.    Did I ever mention that I love hearing the speeches at weddings because that’s when I really get to know about the couple?  Well, it turns out that Kristina and Brandon are both animal lovers and Brandon used to work at the Toronto Zoo taking care of the animals.   It sounded like it was a very interesting  job, and since I also love animals, I thought it was very cool.  There were lots of animal references throughout the evening which was very entertaining!  Weddings make me so happy and I was thrilled to be a part of their big day.  Best wishes to Kristina and Brandon for a future full of joy.

Their first look at Glendon College was so exciting and sweet.

This is my favourite location for photos at Glendon College.  The lighting is so pretty under this archway the greenery is a nice feature.  Doesn’t Kristina look beautiful here?!

The ceremony and reception at the Paradise Banquet hall were so pretty.  I loved the spring blossom theme that they chose.
