Hi! I'm Nicole, a Toronto wedding and portrait photographer who is obsessed with books, loves her family, and is passionate about taking authentic photos.
Alex and Mark’s rustic wedding at Dyment’s Glen Drummond Farm was on a beautiful summer day. The weather was perfect and everything ran smoothly.
Alex and Mark decided to have a first look at the Glen Drummond Farm which was a smart idea. It allowed them to have a relaxed time taking their photos before their guests arrived. After the first look, we took lots of photos of them around the property and then we headed to a beautiful lookout area for their wedding ceremony. Some of my favourite photo locations included the corn fields and an area in the reception venue with bales of hay. The location of their wedding ceremony was also breathtaking and unique. This is definitely one of the highlights of the property.
After the ceremony, the reception began under one of the big barns. What I loved about this barn is that one side of it is open to a courtyard, so it is nice and bright inside and the air circulation was great. The reception was full of laughs and good times and people enjoyed eating homestyle favourites like pie and lemonade.
Check out some of my favourite photos from Alex and Mark’s rustic wedding…
Alex and Mark did their first look in a shady patch by these big evergreens.
The corn fields were a fun place to take bride and groom photos.
I love the big smiles on these two!
The view at the ceremony site was gorgeous! This is definitely a unique location for a wedding ceremony.
We took Alex and Mark for some sunset photos. The soft and glowy light is the best at this time of day.
The reception area was in this barn and one side of it opened up to a courtyard. This made it nice and bright inside and kept it cool.
We had a great time at Alex and Mark’s Glen Drummond Farm wedding. We wish them many years of happiness!
