Alexandra and Philip’s Casa Loma wedding in Toronto was the kind of day that makes you believe in true love and perfect timing. We were connected through a past wedding I photographed, and I immediately understood why people love these two—warm, genuine, and completely at ease together.

They met by chance at a Toronto restaurant several years ago, and they just clicked. The timing was perfect. Alexandra told her friend the very next day that she would marry Philip, and a few years later, on a beautiful October day, that’s exactly what happened.

They chose Casa Loma as their wedding venue, and it couldn’t have been a more iconic setting for their celebration. The ceremony felt intimate and emotional, surrounded by all their favourite people. Friends and family flew in from Europe and from all over the world to be there, and you could see how much it meant to Alexandra and Philip to have everyone together in one place.

Casa Loma is also a dream location for wedding photography. We took photos all over the property and there were endless options indoors and outdoors—grand stone backdrops, soft pockets of light, and dramatic castle details that made every portrait feel elevated. I especially loved the bridal suite for a few relaxed bridesmaids photos, and the covered porch leading to the entrance of the castle is another favourite spot for timeless portraits.
