Melissa and Ben’s wedding was on a beautiful summer day in July.    I met up with them last winter for their engagement session and we had a great time taking photos in the snow.   Melissa and Ben met in high school and had been together for a long time.  These two had such an amazing history together and they knew each other’s families so well.  

They planned their wedding in such great detail and it was a happy and fun-filled day.   I started taking photos in the morning at Melissa’s parent’s house.   After I arrived, I took some photos of her details and then I took photos of Melissa’s mom helping her into her dress.   Once Melissa was ready, she did a first look with her bridal party, which was really sweet.  

We headed to a church for the ceremony and took photos in the fields behind the building.   There was lots of green space around the church and it kept the wedding day timeline simple by taking the photos at the ceremony site.

After we finished the photos, we drove to the Mississauga Convention Centre for an amazing reception.   The room was decorated so beautifully and there was so much attention to detail.     I had a blast taking photos at the reception and I loved hearing the speeches.    It was a fantastic day documenting these high school sweethearts and here are some of my favourite photos from their big day…
