Sarah and Jackson celebrated a relaxed, classic wedding at the Postmark Hotel in Newmarket, Ontario on August 16, 2025. Their day felt true to who they are: calm, connected, and focused on being present with the people they love most, especially friends and family who travelled in from out of town.

Their story started back in 2015 during university, when they met through an intramural flag football game after Jackson stepped in to help a team short a player. Ten years later, their Newmarket wedding was the perfect continuation of that steady, easy partnership.

As their photographer, I kept their photos simple and timeless, focusing on natural moments and classic portraits that would never feel dated. It was really hot that day, so we opted to take most of the photos indoors. It turned out to be the best decision. The Postmark Hotel is a gorgeous Newmarket wedding venue with so many beautiful spaces for photos—bright windows, elegant textures, and cozy corners that made everything feel elevated while still warm and relaxed. Having so many great indoor options meant we could stay comfortable, move smoothly through the day, and still create a full gallery that felt varied and intentional.

The Postmark Hotel wedding venue also made the whole experience easy for guests, thanks to its Main Street Newmarket location. Between the walkable area, nearby shops and restaurants, and parks close by, it’s an ideal spot for a wedding weekend in York Region.

Sarah and her girls had on these cute pyjamas when i arrived. They all looked so pretty in these pastels!

After Sarah put on her dress, he grandmother arrived and she had the best reaction to seeing Sarah!

It was so hot outside, so Sarah and Jackson opted to have their first look inside. Which was a great idea.

We took a few photos outside on the wraparound patio on the upper floor of the venue. We kept it quick and I think it was worth it:)

The ceremony space was gorgeous with floor to ceiling windows and views of downtown Newmarket.
