Summer wedding at Piper’s Heath Golf Course – Stephanie and Mike
Stephanie and Mike celebrated a fun, heartfelt wedding at Pipers Heath, and their day was full of the kind of energy you can’t fake. These two are genuinely best friends—sweet, relaxed, and completely in sync, with nonstop inside jokes and that easy chemistry that makes everyone around them feel like they’re in on the fun.
Pipers Heath was the perfect one-location venue for their wedding day. The outdoor ceremony space is beautiful and feels tucked into nature, and the weather couldn’t have been better. With so many natural areas right on the property, we were able to move smoothly through portraits without having to leave the venue. It’s ideal for couples who want a calm timeline and a gallery with lots of variety—greenery, open light, and those quiet little pockets that photograph so well.
I photographed a wedding at Pipers Heath about eight years ago, and it was so great to be back and see the updates they’ve made. The reception space in particular felt refreshed and elevated, and it set the tone perfectly for a night that was equal parts cozy and lively. From the first dances to the packed dance floor, the whole evening had that “everyone’s fully in it” feeling.
One of my favourite moments was their version of the shoe game. They added a new spin with cutout photos of their faces, and the guests loved it—lots of laughter, lots of cheering, and the kind of memory that always ends up being a highlight when you look back at the day.
